| In practice for nearly 17 years, Mr. Evans has extensive court room experience and over 100 jury trials to his credit. After graduating from law school Mr. Evans was a former assistant district attorney with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted such crimes as domestic violence, sex crimes against children, and other felony and misdemeanor crimes for nearly 5 years. At the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Evans was nicknamed “scrapper” for his scrappy litigation style. | Lucio Del Toro was born in Alice, Texas and raised in Corpus Christi. He graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Government and obtained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas Tech School of Law. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Del Toro served as prosecutor for the Dallas City and District Attorney office where he became a chief prosecutor. While a chief prosecutor, Mr. Del Toro, managed a team of assistant prosecutors and 5,000 active criminal cases.His experience as an assistant district attorney and defense attorney contributes to his knowledgeable background in criminal law. Mr. Del Toro’s trial and courtroom experience has allowed him to have over 50 jury trials. Primary focus centers on the area of felony criminal charges, and misdemeanor charges including: sexual assault, burglary, possession of a controlled substance, DWI, assault, and domestic violence. Clients and Judges find that Mr. Del Toro is both a committed and highly qualified criminal defense attorney and family law advocate for the clients of the Evans Criminal Law Group. Mr. Del Toro is honored to serve the central Texas community where he resides with his wife and their three children. |

| With a tax and finance background from the University of Texas, Mr. Verdict has brought a unique skill set to the Evans Law Group. Mr. Verdict always stands ready with his financial calculator. Mr. Verdict primarily assists with the litigation side of our practice and coordinates with clients on the complicated process of navigating discovery, the worlds of accountants and IRS matters, financial experts, mental health experts, and the like when necessary. The additional of Mr. Verdict to the Evans Family Law Group has provided an extensive financial skill set and background that typically requires a firm to “outsource” for which client’s are billed for not only attorney time, but for the expert’s time as well. As a result, the Evans Family Law Group is very well suited and prepared for the presentation of very complicated financial information, evaluations, and in particular in cases where private business interests are at stake. | Juan is a technology “whizz”. Juan’s technological skills provides the Evans Family Law Group, primarily on the litigation side of our practice, with extensive client support, creation and organization of exhibits and evidence, recordings, photos, and when applicable works with electronic forensic experts to assist with “data diving” whenever it is necessary to preserve and research electronic evidence (such as email or hard drives). Juan assists our criminal law practice by providing communication 24/7 for Jail Releases. |
